Radharc an Earagail - Annagry

Newly built 3 bedroom holiday home set amid the rugged natural beauty of west Donegal. There are views of Mount Errigal, the county's highest peak and all the amenities of Annagry are within easy driving distance. All around Radharc an Earagail you will find rugged peninsulas, clean beaches and mountains.

The visitor will find numerous peaceful roads, country lanes and mountain tracks to walk. West Donegal is famous for its natural beauty - from the majesty of Glenveagh National Park  to the wild Atlantic views along the Rosses and Gweedore coastline.

Annagry

Annagry itself is in the Gaeltacht area of the Rosses in West Donegal and is the closet village to Donegal Airport in nearby Carrickfinn. The village has an Irish speaking college in the summer months where the Irish language can be learnt by young and old alike. West of the road between Annagry and Crolly is the district of Rannafast , one of the major centres in the country for summer courses in the Irish Language.

• Golf at nearby Cruit Island Golf Club or Gweedore Golf Club  – two challenging  and very scenic 9 hole courses.

• Enjoy beautiful unspoilt beaches in the locality - including the fabulous Carrickfinn Blue Flag Beach (3km) and Mullaghderg

• Fish for brown, sea and rainbow trout in some of the 130 lakes in the Rosses area

• Take a trip around the spectacular Bloody Foreland

• Try some of the local award winning restaurants - Danny Minnie's in Annagry itself  or the Lobster Pot in Burtonport

• Go sea angling from  Kincasslagh, Bunbeg or Burtonport

• Visit Leo’s Tavern in Meenaleck – the home of world renowned Clannad and Enya

• Go diving from the Inishfree Diving Centre in Burtonport

• Visit Dunlewey Lakeside Centre - Facilities include restaurant, tea-room, craft shop,  adventure play areas, pets & animals, storytelling, boat trips on Dunlewey Lake, guided tours and weaving demonstrations.

• Relax in the Leisure Centre of  An Chuirt Hotel

• Take a day trip to  Aranmore, Tory Island or Gola Island.

• Climb Muckish and Errigal.

• Visit Glenveagh National Park, with 16,000 hectares of mountains, lakes, wood and bogs. Glenveagh contains the largest red deer population in Europe.  Within the National Park Glenveagh Castle and gardens are well worth a visit on their own

Booking Details

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of 100 euro per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.
