Radharc Ghabhla Cottage - Derrybeg

An architect designed, newly built house, with coastal views, located in Sheskinbeg and close to local shops - Spar, Gallaghers in Derrybeg.

Derrybeg is located in the Gaeltacht in North West Donegal and is an ideal holiday destination and area to tour.

Local Activities

The area is known for its sheltered sandy beaches, spectacular rugged coastline and the warmth of the welcome extended to visitors to the area.
In the long evenings, locals and visitors gather in the village pubs to listen to traditional music, - indeed this area is the heartland of such renowned groups as Altan and Clannad.

There is a good selection of restaurants in the area such as the Ostan Gweedore, which has an award winning sea food restaurant. Traditional music sessions can be found nightly in the many local pubs. After youve spent a while in the area youre sure to discover the truth of Donegal Tourisms slogan, - up here its different.

Local activities in the area include. to mention a few,
swimming, surfing, scuba diving, fresh water and deep sea angling, boating, in sail or motor, and on sea or lake.
Horse riding and pony trekking, Golf, cycling and hill walking.
Or one could just go for a quiet walk on a deserted beach.
On rainy days the local leisure centre has a gym and a heated indoor pool.

From the harbour pier at Bunbeg, daily boat trips to the islands of Tory and Gola are offered. subject to availability and weather conditions

The fully fitted kitchen is fully equipped with modern storage units, and includes a Neff ceramic electric hob and oven, with extractor, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, dining-kitchen table. There is also a kettle and toaster, and essential crockery, cutlery, and cookware.

  Living Room

The spacious main living area has an open fireplace, comfortable leather upholstered seating and outside views of the surroundings through double patio doors. The Satellite TV has a DVD, and the floor is tiled.

The architect designed cottage also has a unique gallery area with sofabed.

  Bedrooms

There are three bedrooms (and sofabed) to sleep up to eight.

a. An upstairs double bed with coastal views.
b. A downstairs King double bed with coastal views and an en-suite.
c. A downstairs with two single beds.

Bed linen is provided, and there is a hairdryer.
