Radharc na Mara Apartment is a small but cosy apartment located on the coast road midway between the villages of Rathmullan and Ramelton in North Donegal. It is situated close to Ray Bridge and enjoys good views of Lough Swilly. The apartment has an open plan kitchen/living area and two bedrooms - each with a double bed.

The apartment is centrally located to explore the natural beauty of North Donegal. It is 5km from the popular seaside resort of Rathmullan and 5 km from the heritage village of Ramelton. It is a similar distance from the busy market town of Milford.

Rathmullan has a beautiful sandy beach and a small marina where charter boats can be hired for sightseeing tours on Lough Swilly or for deep-sea angling. The village has a number of top class restaurants as well as a number of good bar food establishments. The village is also the location of the Flight of the Earls Heritage Centre – the 400th anniversary of this famous event in Irish history will be celebrated in 2007.

The village of Ramelton is 5 km to the south of the apartment. This wonderful heritage village on the banks of the river Lennon is full of old world charm. It has good shopping, country markets, quaint pubs and many beautiful buildings. A building along the Quays houses the Ramelton Heritage Centre as well as Donegal Ancestry – the genealogy centre for County Donegal.

The apartment is an ideal base to explore a number of Irelands most beautiful peninsulas – Fanad, Rosguill and Inishowen. The Fanad Peninsula has the spectacular Knockalla Coast Road and the superb blue flag beach at Portsalon. The Rosguill Peninsula is the location of the renowned Atlantic Drive and the magnificent Rosapenna Golf Links near Downings. The car ferry in Rathmullan provides a very pleasant gateway to the Inishowen Peninsula – one of Irelands most beautiful and unspoilt regions.

The apartment is about a 20-minute drive away form Letterkenny – County Donegals main town. This busy town has everything you would expect to find in a modern urban centre – cinemas, theatre, indoor play centres, swimming pool, town park, shopping centres and night clubs. Letterkenny is the venue for the 2006 All Ireland Fleadh Ceol and is the main base of the renowned Earrigal Arts Festival.
