Ramelton Apartments consist of 4 large,luxury,duplex modern apartments that overlook the beautiful River Lennon and Lough Swilly Estuary in the heart of the historic Georgian village of Ramelton in County Donegal.

The apartments are located in a low level apartment block that has been designed to blend in with the unique architecture of this quaint Donegal village. The apartments are located on the top two floors of the building - maximising their views of the estuary and the historic quayside.

The Apartments

The penthouse apartment offers luxurious and spacious accommodation for 6 people on two floors. In addition there are 3 superb two bedroom apartments that can comfortably accommodate 4/5. All the apartments are duplex, large,and located along the same landing - making them an ideal accommodation option for groups of up to 18. The living area in each apartment has double doors leading to a balcony that overlooks the estuary below.

Ramelton - A Heritage Town

The village of Ramelton itself is steeped in history and heritage. It has managed to retain much of its old world charm and character through preserving many of the wonderful historical Georgian buildings that give the village a distinctive identity in this part of Ireland.

Within this beautiful architectural setting there is a vibrant village with many facilities for you to enjoy during your visit. The recently renovated Town Hall is the venue for a variety of entertainment including concerts and stage plays. The weekly Country Market is renowned for fresh vegetables, home baking and local handcrafted gifts. The village has many quaint pubs - the wonderful Bridge Bar is a highly regarded music venue while Conway's Pub enables the visitor to take a step back in time.

Ideal Base For Golfers

For the golfer these holiday apartments are centrally located for playing the great links courses of County Donegal. The renowned Rosapenna links on the Rosguill Peninsula and the beautiful Portsalon course on the Fanad Peninsula are half an hours drive away. The Donegal Golf Club at Murvagh and Ballyliffin on the Inishowen Peninsula are less than an hours drive away.

North Donegal

Ramelton Apartments are also an ideal base to explore the natural beauty of North Donegal. Some of the best beaches in the country are in this area – including the magnificent blue flag beach at Portsalon and the wonderful Tramore Strand near Downings. The spectacular landscapes of the Fanad and Rosguil Peninsulas, the unspoilt Donegal Highlands, the magnificent Glenveagh National Park and the ancient and historic walled City of Derry are all with an hours drive of the apartments

Letterkenny

  Open Plan Area

The Penthouse Apartment has a large open plan living area. This apartment - like all the apartments- has double doors leading out to a  balcony which offers superb views of the River Lennon/Lough Swilly Estuary and the historic Ramelton quayside. The living area itself features a luxurious leather suite and a cosy fire effect electric stove. The living and dining areas have a solid wood floor while the adjacent kitchen area has a tiled floor. An elegant spiral staircase leads to the superb master bedroom on the upper level of the apartment

The apartments has been designed to take advantage of their location along the banks of the River Lennon. Every living area has double doors leading out to a balcony which overlooks the river. Two of the two bedroom apartments have a gallery which overlooks the open plan lower level - giving a wonderful sense of space.
