A superb holiday apartment located on an elevated site overlooking  Sheephaven Bay and Horn Head and near the popular villages of Dunfanaghy and Pornablagh.

This newly furnished, 3 bedroom ground-floor apartment comfortably sleep 6 and features a large open plan living and kitchen area. Both the master bedroom and living area have access to an outside patio area, via sliding doors, where  the visitor you can enjoy stunning  and uninterrupted views of the surrounding coastline and ocean.

Dunfanaghy Golf Club is an 18 hole links course and is only 1km from the apartment. The course is  an excellent golfing challenge, with spectacular views of  headlands, beaches, harbours and mountains. The greens are consistently rated with the best in the country, and the course - being sand-based  -  is playable throughout the year. There are several other excellent courses nearby.

Surrounding Area

The Apartment is centrally located on the North Donegal coastline.  The natural landscape of this scenic area  provides the basis for many of the activities that the visitor can enjoy. In addition to an abundance of golden sandy beaches  there are many water based activities in the Portnablagh/Dunfanaghy area - including windsurfing, water-skiing, scuba diving, canoeing and sailing.

Mountain climbing and hill walking are popular in this spectacular landscape with Errigal,  Muckish and the Derryveagh mountains all easily reachable. The hills and coastline are also a major attraction for cyclists.

Fishing is a major activity in this part of Donegal  and many types of fish can be caught around the coast including pollock, codling, conger and  mackerel. Wreck fishing and shark fishing can also be enjoyed - a number of  boats can be chartered or hired from local fishermen.

Within a thirty minute drive of the holiday apartment there are numerous things to do and places to visit. You have the majestic Glenveagh National Park and the beautiful Ards Forest Park. The lakeside centre in Dunlewy has something for all the family. Letterkenny has all the amenities you would expect to find in a large town - cinemas, museum, theatre, leisure centres, art galleries and excellent shopping.

The master en-suite bedroom.  has wonderful sea views.  What better way to start a day than to step out onto the bedroom balcony and breathe in the fresh air and watch the boats come into the harbour below. The apartment also has two twin bedrooms which are adjacent to a separate bathroom. 

The apartment has an elevated location overlooking the small coastal village of Portnablagh and enjoys  views of the local beach, harbour and surrounding area that can only be described as breathtaking.
