County Donegal as a whole is renowned for its unspoilt  natural beauty with superb blue flag beaches, spectacular coastline and majestic highlands. Ards Forest Park, Glenveagh National Park and Castle, Glebe Gallery, Gartan Outdoor Pursuit Center, Doe Castle and Rosapenna 18 hole championship links golf courses are all within an 15 mile radius of the cottage. The cottage is also an ideal base for those who enjoy hill walking and river fishing

Beaches

The cottage is located 4 miles from the wonderful beach at Marble Hill. Overlooking Marble Hill Strand is the superb new Shandon Hotel Spa and Wellness Centre. This modern Spa has a hydrotherapy floor and 8 treatment rooms. In addition to Marble Hill there are three other magnificent beaches in this beautiful part of Donegal - Ards, Tramore and Killahoey.

Creeslough is centrally located among the main holiday resorts on the North Donegal coastline – Portnablagh, Dunfanaghy, Downings and Carrigart. In these seaside villages there are lively pubs and a good choice of restaurants.  Windsurfing, water-skiing, scuba diving, canoeing and sailing are all available in the region.
