Rock Cottage - the cliffs of Slieve League

The Slieve League cliffs, situated on the west coast of Donegal, are reputed to be the highest and one of the most majestic marine cliffs in Europe with a three hundred metre sheer drop down into the wild, north Atlantic breakers below. This creates an awe-inspiring but extremely scary view.

In addition there is much more to see besides the cliffs. You are advised to leave the car and walk the few kilometres to the cliffs so as not to miss the exciting vistas of the area. There are terrific views of the ocean and the Sligo hills to be seen. Donegal Bay can be clearly seen as you walk towards the high top of Slieve League.
