Rosanna House - Bunbeg

Rosanna House is a modern 4 bedroom holiday home located just off the main street in Bunbeg in the Gweedore Region of West Donegal. The holiday home enjoys views towards the rugged coastline just over 1 km away. These views can be enjoyed from an extensive decking area to the side of the house.

Ideal Family Holiday Home

The holiday home has an open plan kitchen, dining and living area. A large beautifully furnished conservatory provides a second living space with sea views. On the first floor there is a large master bedroom with superb ensuite facilities and a second bedroom with a single bed and bunk beds (double and single). The ground floor has a double bedroom and a bedroom with a small double and single bunk bed. For families there is the added advantage of a large enclosed lawn with swings and slides – and also TVs in all the bedrooms. A table football game is also available.

Rugged Coastine with Secluded Beaches

The holiday home is within easy walking distance of many of Bunbegs amenities including, shops, pubs and hotels. The scenic Gweedore Golf Club is just 1km away. There are numerous small secluded beaches dotted along the coastline in front of the holiday home as well as larger Magheracloher Strand (1.5km) and  Port Arthur Strand. Fishing is available on the Clady and Crolly Rivers and at nearby Loughanure (9km). The newly expanded Dunlewey Centre has activities for all the family and is just over 10km away. Not to be missed is a trip to Glenveagh National Park in the heart of the Donegal Highlands.

Bunbeg is located in the heart of the West Donegal Gaeltacht. Here the Irish language (Gaeilge) is widely used on a day-to-day basis by locals. As with most Gaetltacht regions in Ireland,Irish culture and traditions are kept very much alive in the Bunbeg area, offering an authentic Irish experience for visitors

• Golf on nearby Gweedore Golf Club – a challenging and vey scenic 9 hole links course. 
• Enjoy beautiful unspoilt beaches on your doorstep
• Visit the Dunlewey Lakeside Centre - Facilities include restaurant, tea-room, craft shop,  adventure play areas, pets & animals, storytelling, boat trips on Dunlewey Lake, guided tours and weaving demonstrations.
• Take a trip around the spectacular Bloody Foreland
• Take a day trip to Tory Island or Gola Island. The ferry service to Tory Island is available from Bunbeg and Magheroarty several times a day - weather permitting
• Climb Muckish and Errigal. Mount Errigal, the highest mountain in Donegal is a demanding climb and once on the summit you can see for miles around.
• Visit Glenveagh National Park, with 16,000 hectares of mountains, lakes, wood and bogs. Glenveagh contains the largest red deer population in Europe.  Within the National Park Glenveagh Castle and gardens are well worth a visit on their own
• Fish on the Clady  or Crolly rivers or at nearby Loughanure
• Find numerous peaceful roads, country lanes and mountain tracks to walk. Slí an Earagail - a Bealach na Gaeltachta Waymarked Way - passes along the coast in front of the holiday home.

Living Space

  Kitchen and Dining Area

The open plan area in this large holiday home has a spacious kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has an electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and an american style fridge freezer. The dining area has a sturdy oval shaped table and 6 comfortable chairs.

An adjacent utility room has a wahing machine and tumble dryer.

  Living Area

The bright living area has a wooden floor and a comfortable furniture suite. There is an open fireplace, flat screen tv and dvd player. This living space looks out over the front lawn which contains childrens swings and slides as wells as a stylish wooden ggarden shelter.

  Conservatory

The holiday home has the added advantage of a second living space - in this case a large conservatory style living area which enjoys views towards the rugged Gweedore coastline. The conservatory has a ssolid fuel stove and is very tastefully furnished and decorated.

The conservatory has double french doors leading out to a very generous decking area to the side of the house. This deacking also enjoys sea views.

Booking Details

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of euro100 per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.

• check in 4pm, check out 11am
• rental Sat – Sat except by special arrangement
• €100 breakage deposit to be paid with balance of rental which is refunded after final inspection on departure date.
