Rosapenna Golf Links - This holiday home is situated right on the golf course, with a garden to both the front and rear of the house. Childrens outdoor toys available and adult bikes also available on request with an optional childrens seat. Patio and BBQ area to the front of the house overlooking the golf course.

Situated on the golf course one min walk to the club house, private path to the beach only one min walk, one min walk to Rospenna Hotel, eight min walk to the centre of Downings and a two min drive to leisure centre/ pool and Kidz Kingdom (a childrens play facility)

Downings

Downings is a lovely seaside village located amid the spectacular scenery of north Donegal. The village is blessed with superb beaches and has fine views across Sheephaven Bay to the Ards peninsula (with the remains of Ard House on the point of the peninsula) and the distant flat-topped peak of Muckish.

It has a long standing tradition of tweed making and fishing. Downings is traditionally a Irish speaking area where you are likely to hear Irish spoken but English is the language generally in use. Sheephaven Bay is ideal for water sports and deep sea angling. The Rosapenna Championship Links Golf Course is just half a mile from the village. This small peninsula area jutting out into the Atlantic also has interesting walks and drives.

North West Donegal

Within a thirty minute drive of the cottage there are numerous visitor attractions. These include the majestic Glenveagh National Park and the beautiful Ards Forest Park near Cresslough. The lakeside centre in Dunlewy has something for all the family. In Dunfanaghy there is a workhouse famine museum. Churchill has the famous Glebe House and Gallery as well as the Colmcille Heritage Centre. Letterkenny has all the amenities you would expect to find in a large town - cinemas, museum, theatre, leisure centres, art galleries and excellent shopping.

The patio area has outdoor furniture and uninterrupted views over the nearby fairways. A small private pathway leads from the home to the nearby beach. (1 min walk)

euro100 deposit secures booking with balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival

• check in 4pm, check out 11am
• rental Sat – Sat except by special arrangement
• Damage deposit: euro100 to be paid on arrival and returned at end of stay
