Rossmore House - Glengad

This spacious bungalow style holiday cottage in located in a tranquil rural area, close to Irelands most northerly point, Malin Head. There is plenty of room to accommodate up to nine - ideal for the large family group. Rossmore is a short five minute walk from the local beach. Its not too far from Portaleen Pier and is located between the villages of  Malin and Culdaff.

Enjoy long walks, beautiful open spaces and scenery, fishing and sightseeing around the beautiful Inishowen Peninsula. Glengad is a  traditional fishing village located some 10 miles from Irelands most northerly point, Malin Head. This whole area and its people have a close affinity with the sea - the rugged landscape looks out over the North Atlantic Ocean

The area is an ideal base for a touring holiday of Inishowen, and with the car-ferries at Buncrana and Greencastle available during the summer months, you can easily drive across the the entire northern part of Ireland.

Golf enthusiasts will enjoy the magnificent links course at Ballyliffin, just a short drive away, while other attractions in the area include the Famine Village at Doagh Island, the Maritime Museum at Greencastle and the Guns at the fort of Dunree. A day trip to the historic City of Derry is also highly recommended.
