Sea ViewsOpen Fire   Sea View is a modern 3 bedroom holiday home with a stunning coastal setting in Magheroarty on Donegal's section of the Wild Atlantic Way.  From its elevated site the holiday home enjoys sweeping panoramic views over Magheroarty Beach and Ballyness Bay towards the dramatic Donegal Highlands. Five minute walk to Magheroarty Beach From the front door it a five minute walk down to Magheroarty beach - also known as Dooey Strand. This fabulous beach is popular for a range of water based activities including surfing, kayaking, kite surfing. wind surfing and swimming.  The large sand dunes provide a playground for children of all ages . The keen walker will enjoy the dramatic scenery that surrounds the beach. The  ferrys to both Tory Island  and Inishbofin Island leave from Magheroarty Pier. Located Along the Wild Atlantic Way Magheroarty is situated right at the northwest corner of Donegal with wonderful coastal scenery on either side. Along the north coast there are views of Tory and Inishboffin Islands as well as the spectacular Horn Head Peninsula.   Looking Inland Looking inland there are views of the Seven Sisters - a range of mountains that stretch from Muckish to Errigal. To the east of Magheroarty are the small villages of Gortahork and Falcarragh. On the other side is Bloody Foreland and the rugged Gweedore coastline with numerous small harbours, fine beaches and several islands including Gola and Innismeane. The rugged landscape that surrounds the holiday home is ideal terrain for the keen walker or cyclist. Lovers of the Irish language can also feel at home by immersing themselves in the music, language and traditions of the North West Donegal Gaeltacht.  Glenveagh National Park and the Dunlewey Centre The majestic Glenveagh National Park in the heart of the Donegal Highlands is just over 24km away. This park contains a quaint Scottish style Castle, visitor centre, wonderful gardens and 16,000 hectares of mountains, glens and lakes. Just 16km from the holiday home is the beautifully situated Dunlewey Center.  This cultural and family activity centre is on the shores of Dunlewy Lough and has Mount Errigal as an imposing backdrop. Facilities at centre include weaving displays, craft shop, restaurant, boat trips, lakeside walks and indoor and outdoor play areas Local Attractions / Activities Take a day trip to Tory Island or Inishboffin Island. The ferry service to Tory Island is available from Magheroarty Pier several times a day - weather permitting Enjoy beautiful unspoilt beaches in the locality - in addition to Magheroarty there are fine beaches at  Falcarragh (Drumnatinney) and at Derrybeg (Port Arthur) Enjoy the leisure facilities at An Chuirt Hotel Golf at Falcarragh, Gweedore and Dunfanaghy - all within a half hours drive  of the holiday home Visit Dunlewey Lakeside Centre - Facilities include restaurant, tea-room, craft shop,  adventure play areas, pets & animals, storytelling, boat trips on Dunlewey Lake, guided tours and weaving demonstrations. Climb Muckish and Errigal. Mount Errigal, the highest mountain in Donegal is a demanding climb and once on the summit you can see for miles around. Visit  the beautiful gardens and castle of Glenveagh National Park Find numerous peaceful roads, country lanes and mountain tracks to walk. Slí an Earagail - a Bealach na Gaeltachta Waymarked Way - passes through the locality

The holiday home has the advantage of a second living/ sitting space. It is located on the ground floor adjoining the kitchen and dining area. It has comfortable wicker sofas and a small tv with dvd player.  Glass patio doors offer views towards the sea and Mount Errigal.
