The 2 cottages form one part of a large courtyard arrangement - the other stone buildings are used for storage. This photo shows the outdoor barbecue area with its wooden picnic tables and gas barbecue. Beyond the old stone walls you can see Foxhall Woods - we even supply wellies for you to explore the 100+ surrounding acres of woodland!

Foxhall Woods
Stablewoods holiday cottages are located on the old Foxhall estate which includes 100 acres of private woods. The woods are made up of native Irish species of trees including ash, hazel, birch, holly, oak and alder. Guests of Stablewoods cottages can make full use of the woods to enjoy walks in a private setting.
