The Sycamores No.12 - Rathmullan

This beautiful 3 bedroom cottage is set in mature woodlands which provides a great place for children to play. With only a 3 min walk you can enjoy the 2km  sandy beach and 10 mins will take you to Rathmullan Village where you will find pubs, restaurants and shops.

Local Amenities

Other amenities in the area include a new ferry service to Buncrana, the Flight of Earls Heritage Centre, Fanad Coastal Drive and Equestrian Centre to name but a few. If you fancy exploring but don’t want to drive why not try a boat trip of the Lough Swilly on the Enterprise.

For the golfing enthusiasts why not try the 9 hole Otway course which is 3 miles away or the spectacular links course at Portsalon.

Local Acitivites

We would recommend a trip to Letterkenny which is 25 mins away and is great for shopping. You could also enjoy the cinema, go-karting, 10 pin bowling, and indoor kids’ adventure centre.

The kitchen/dining area of the cottage is bright and naturally lit. Outside the cottage there is plenty of open space for kids to play around in and the beach is only a short stroll away.

  Living Room

The main living room of The Sycamores No.12 features two sets of patio doors giving the room an abundance of natural daylight. One set of doors leads to the patio area which is complete with patio furniture and barbecue, the other set opens out to the side and gives good views of the surrounding countryside. For your entertainment a tv, video, dvd and stereo system are provided. An open fireplace completes the homely feel.

  Beach

The cottage is within 3 minutes walk of Rathmullans fabulous beach, a 3km crescent of sand on the western shores of Lough Swilly. This is one of the finest beaches in Donegal and is a favourite walking place for locals and tourists alike. A short stroll along this beach takes you to the pier and marina where you can hire a boat for a fishing or pleasure trip on the lough or perhaps catch the ferry to Buncrana on the other side.
