Teach de Brun - Ramelton

Teach de Brun is a relaxing holiday home located just outside the Heritage Town of Ramelton in North Donegal. This comfortable 4 bedroom cottage can be a haven allowing you to read, paint, walk and relax The holiday home can also be an idyllic base to pursue numerous outdoor pursuits available in the locality  - including golf, fishing and walking.

The holiday home is set in mature gardens and is partially sheltered by woodlands. There are good sized lawns to the front and back. A feature of the holiday home is the large windows which provide ample natural light for the main rooms.

Ramelton - A Heritage Town

Teach de Brun is just is just off the main Ramelton to Milford road. It is just 1 km from Ramelton and 5 km from Milford.  Ramelton is a quaint village located on the banks of the River Lennon. Due to its historic importance and wonderful Georgian Architecture it has been designated as a Heritage Town – one of only two in County Donegal. There is a charm and poetry about Ramelton and its surrounding area that entices visitors back year after year.

Local Activities

Based at Teach de Brun you will not find it hard to find something to do –  fish on the River Lennon or Lough Fern, golf at Lettterkenny, Portsalon or Rosapenna, tour the scenic Fanad and Rosguill Peninsulas or enjoys the beaches in Rathmullan, Portsalon or Downings.

The majestic Glenveagh National Park is a 25 minute drive away from the holiday home. This beautiful National Park has 16,000 hectares of mountains, lakes, wood and bogs and is home to the largest red deer herd in Ireland and 23 pairs of golden eagles. There are guided tours of the Castle situated on the shores of Lough Veagh.

Teach de Brun is just 4 km from the Milford Inn Hotel and 7 km from  both the Silver Tassie Hotel and Castle Grove Country House Hotels which makes it an attractive accommodation option for those attending weddings in these popular establishments. The holiday home is also just 15 minutes drive from Letterkenny - Donegal's main shopping town and entertainment centre.

The holiday home has a cosy living room with an open fireplace. Like all rooms in the house, it has a large window providing ample natural light. For home entertainment there is a tv, dvd player and cd stereo.
