Teachín Cois Cladaigh - Moville

This lovely modern cottage is situated along the route between Moville and the fishing village of Greencastle. It is close to the  Shore Walk, one of the most scenic coastal pathways in Ireland and a 15 min walk along this path takes you to the centre of Moville village.

The cottage has been fully modernised and is tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. To the front there is a large garden flanked by mature shrubbery and trees. Teachín Cois Cladaigh is 2km from Greencastle which has a superb new golf course, Maritime Museum and fresh fish market. Here you can catch the car ferry for a short crossing of Lough Foyle to visit The Giant's Causeway and beyond.

Moville enjoys a scenic and strategic location on the western shore of Lough Foyle, about 17 miles from the Historic Walled City of Derry. Its most noted feature is its expansive shore front Green, a large seaside park featuring a bandstand, walking trails, playgrounds and panoramic views eastwards across the waters of the lough to Binevenagh mountain in north Co. Derry. The town itself has a good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops.

Greencastle Maritime Museum is only 2km from Teachín Cois Cladaigh. It offers something for all the family and puts special emphasis on local themes such as a maritime memorial, local involvement in the Great Wars, the Spanish Armada in the area, and emigration.

Golf: Inishowen is a golfer's paradise. Greencastle Golf Club is a members owned eighteen hole course on the banks of Lough Foyle. Redcastle Golf Club has 9-hole parkland golf course in a stunning setting along the banks of Lough Foyle. Ballyliffin Golf Club has a 36 hole course and an ultra modern clubhouse overlooking both courses and the spectacular sunsets over Pollan Bay

The kitchen of Teachín Cois Cladaigh is located to the rear and has a door which open out to a patio area complete with outdoor furniture. The kitchen has been newly installed in 2007 and its contemporary feel is enhanced by the clean lines of the units, stainless steel cooker and recessed spotlighting.

Three large windows fill this space with natural sunlight and afford lovely views to the mature surrounding gardens. The furnishings and fittings are contemporary and there is a dining table with seating for 6. Relax around the open fireplace after a day spent exploring the area - wood and turf are supplied. For your entertainment, there is a large lcd tv, dvd and cd/radio.

The holiday home has 4 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 9 people. Two of the bedrooms are located to the front of the house and have views of the mature front garden. A bathroom with bath and overhead electric shower is located next to these bedrooms.

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of euro150 per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.
