My wife and our 2 young children stayed at the cottage during August. The cottage was ideal for our family and the owner could not have been more helpful. It was very cosy and the location was ideal for getting away from the stresses of the City. The kids loved it. It was 2 mins drive to the wonderful Magheroarty beach and a few minutes drive to Gortahork. From the back garden gate we went on a hill walk and found the stations of the cross and beautiful views of the surrounding area. We took day trips to Ards Forest Park, Glenveagh, Dunlewey, Dunfanaghy, took the boat to Tory. All these attractions a short distance by car. We also explored the Gweedore and Rosses area which is also a short distance by car. Teach Ruahri's run a bus to pick you up from the cottage for free. It was great craic and the food was great. All in all our week long stay was very relaxing and pleasant indeed. I would highly recommend this place to family and friends as place of serenity in a stunning area of Donegal.
