The cottage is an ideal base to explore the natural beauty of West Donegal. Local activities in the Bunbeg area include fishing (freshwater and deep sea), golf, swimming and hill walking - Errigal and the Derryveagh mountains are only 15 minutes drive away. There are a number of fine beaches in the locality. A trip to one of the local islands - Gola, Tory or Inishbofin - is a great way to spend a day.
Teach Roíse is located in the heart of Donegal's main Gaeltacht area - enabling the visitor to absorb the culture and heritage of this unique region where Irish is still the main everyday language.

Dún Lúiche, a small rural community in the Donegal Gaeltacht, lies in unique scenery at the foot of Mount Errigal. Ionad Cois Locha is a heritage centre founded and run by local people, which explores aspects of the tradition of this part of Donegal including traditional music and the Irish language. Among the activities available at Ionad Cois Locha are boat trips on Dunlewey Lake, storytelling, a children's petting zoo, tweed weaving demonstrations as well as a lake side footpath

The Kitchen facilities include dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge freezer, microwave, gas hob and electric oven and grill, while the dining area has a pine table with 6 chairs by the patio door. The floor is tiled.
The living room area is located to the front of the cottage, has a stone built open fireplace and enjoys views of Aranmore Island from the patio doors. Furnished with a 3,2,1 suite of furniture, TV and DVD and features a solid maple floor. Patio doors bring extra light and countryside views to both living room and dining room.
Bedroom 1: Double en-suite with view of Mt. Errigal, TV point and walk in wardrobe on first floor.
Bedroom 2: Double en-suite upstairs with sea view , walk in wardrobe and TV point
