Tranquillity Cottage - Dungloe - sea views

This photo shows the lovely sea views to the front of Tranquility Cottage. The seaside villages of Dungloe and Burtonport are a short drive away.
Dungloe is the largest town in the “Rosses”, (the land of over 100 lakes). The “Mary From Dungloe International Festival” is held here every year and has made the town of Dungloe famous throughout the world.
Burtonport is a small fishing village situated in the heart of the Rosses and the gateway to the islands of Arranmore, Rutland and Inishfree. There is a ferry service to Arranmore Island every day (car & passenger). In recent times Burtonport has become very popular for leisure boating and water sports including a PADI dive centre and Sea Fishing excursions which can be arranged locally.
