
Umlaville is a cosy holiday home situated on the outskirts the seaside village of Carrigart in North West Donegal. The holiday home is set in a peaceful rural location and enjoys good views of the surrounding countryside and sea views
The house is centrally heated and comprises a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room with an open fireplace. There are three bedrooms - two doubles and a twin - to accommodate 6 people.
The cottage is ideally located to tour the wonderful scenery of north Donegal. On your doorstep you have the renowned Atlantic Drive. This is a scenic drive starting in nearby Downings and continuing around the spectacular Rosguill Peninsula. In the locality you also have the spectacular Lough Salt Drive.
The natural terrain of the Rosguil Peninsula and the waters of Mulroy Bay and Sheephaven Bay provide the basis for many of the activities that the visitor can enjoy. There are many water based activities in the Carrigart/Downings area - including windsurfing, swimming, sea angling and boat charters. Horse riding and hill walking are popular local activities. There is also an abundance of golden sandy beaches.
The holiday home is less than 4 km from the new Mulroy Bridge that links the Fanad and Rosguill Peninsulas. This will make it much easier for visitors to the holiday home to access attractions such as Fanad Lighthouse, Postsalon Beach and Golf Course and the Knockalla Coast Road
A little further afield you have beautiful and varied coastal landscapes in such areas as Bloody Foreland, Horn Head, and the Rosses . Moving inland you have the majestic and unspoilt Donegal Highlands
So whether you want to enjoy the great outdoors or simply want to unwind and relax Umlaville Cottage provides the ideal holiday base.
The well finished kitchen of the holiday home features a microwave, electric oven and hob and a fridge freezer. The cottage also has a washing machine for you convenience.
The cosy living room of the holiday home features comfortable furniture, an open fireplace and laminate wooden floor. For you entertainment there is a TV, Video, DVD Player and Radio. The living room enjoys lovely countryside and sea views.
The holiday home accommodation consists of two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom.
The Lough Salt Drive and the Atlantic Drive are two superb scenic dives in the immediate locality of the holiday home . The Lough Salt drive will bring you through the village of Glen where the renowned Glen Bar is situated. This cosy pub is full of atmosphere and serves excellent food
