The White House is situated in the picturesque town of Glenties which is located in the heart of the Donegal Highlands. Set against a backdrop of mountains on three sides, Glenties or 'Na Gleanta - The Glens' nestles where two glens meet and then opens out into the Atlantic Ocean.
Against this backdrop of nature's beauty lies our luxury bungalow, The White House. Fitted with all the modern comforts, The White House is the ideal retreat
from the stress of our everyday lives.
Glenties itself retains much of the 19th century charm and character with traditional pubs such as Paddy's Bar and Kenney's Bar where there is always a warm welcome, a good pint and
traditional music to be enjoyed. St. Connell's Museum in Glenties is home to a fine collection of artefacts associated with the heritage of the town and surrounding area.
Surrounded by Mountains and Glens walking is an ideal way to explore this beautiful area with many breathtaking walks close by. Take a short drive and you can experience the
rugged coast of West Donegal with its secluded white sandy beaches. Travel north to Fintown and take a trip along the shores of Loch Finn on Fintown Railway, a narrow gauge railway set in one of the most scenic valleys in Donegal. For the golfer,
Nairn & Portno Golf Club is a short drive away and for fishing, the rivers Owenea and Owentocker, which meet at Glenties, are renowned for the quality of sport they offer.
So whether it is a family holiday, a reunion of old friends, or a short break away,
The White House is the ideal place to stay in luxury and enjoy the delights of Donegal.
