Sea ViewsOpen Fire

Andy Bans is a 2 bedroom holiday home with a lovely coastal setting in the heart of the Gaeltacht village of Kincasslagh in West Donegal. The holiday home overlooks Kincasslagh Strand and is just 1km from the quaint Kincasslagh Pier. Kincasslagh is the gateway village to the ruggedly beautiful Cruit Island which has numerous sandy beaches and a very scenic 9 hole links golf course.

Local Beaches

In addition to Kincasslagh Strand and the beaches on Cruit Island there are several other fine beaches in the locality. These include the wonderful Mullaghderg Beach located between Annagry and Kincasslagh and the superb Blue Flag Beach at nearby Carrickfinn (5km)

The Rosses

The holiday home is an ideal base to explore The Rosses area of West Donegal. This is the historic and ruggedly beautiful area of the Donegal Gaeltacht between the estuaries of Gweebarra to the south and Gweedore to the north, including the islands of Rutland, Inisfree and Árainn Mhór to the west and inland as far as Doochary to the east.
Whatever sort of holiday you are after, the Rosses area has it all : landscapes, seascapes, heritage, culture, beaches, island-hoping, outdoor activities of all sorts in spectacular scenery.

Donegal Airport

Donegal Airport is a 5 minute drive from the holiday homes, and currently offers regular flights to and from Dublin and Glasgow . Within 45 minutes flying time visitors can leave city life behind to enjoy the rugged Donegal coastline, with its many pubs and restaurants offering ‘ceoil agus craic’ or simply sap up the tranquility of the surroundings and the changing mood of the Atlantic Ocean.

What they say

I travel a lot so I'm always looking for interesting places to stay - anything to avoid another carbon copy hotel - and this has got to be one of the best local travel sites I've seen. Plenty of detail, tons of photos, excellent location info and clear pricing - everything I need to make an informed call. Great job and I'll be recommending the site to anyone else I know who's travelling in Donegal.
