Annagh View Ballyliffin

This unique modern home offers ground floor accommodation comprising of three double bedrooms including one ensuite, family bathroom, dining room, living room /kitchen, utility room, toilet/washroom, garden/patio area and car park space. Annagh is a handy equal walk between Ballyliffin and Clonmany and Ballyliffin Golf club is less than 5 minutes in the car. While it feels like the perfect country escape you're never too far away from a meal in the famous Ballyliffin Lodge or even a pint in the local pubs!

Ballyliffin Golf Club

Ballyliffin Golf Course is almost certainly the main attraction, and the reason why the town has seen much growth over recent years. It has one of the finest golf courses in the country, with two links. - The Old Links, and the new Glashedy Links courses. A short seven minute drive from the cottage, will get you to the main clubhouse. Other courses on the Inishowen Peninsula are all within a half hours drive, and include Greencastle, Redcastle, Buncrana, and Culmore in Derry.

The village has four hotels, each with their own bars and restaurants. The golf club has its own bar and restaurant as well. If you are looking for the more traditional type of Irish Pub, then take a short drive to the picturesque village of Clonmany, where you will find seven.

Doagh Island Famine Village

Also on the Isle of Doagh, just a little further on from the golf course, is the Famine Village, - a unique outdoor museum exhibiting displays of structures, models and tableaux depicting Ireland as it was in the 19th century, particularly during the great famine. The centre is well worth a visit, and is especially appealing to children and the young at heart, when it transforms into Santas Lapland in Nov-Dec. - Early booking for this event is essential to avoid disappointment.

What they say

Can I also take this opportunity to say how helpful and user friendly your website is - it is certainly a plus for Donegal. I became aware of it through a friend who has booked a house in Ballyliffin for a number of us attending a wedding in the area in the summer.
