Atlantic Heights Cottage - Carrigart

Atlantic Heights is a luxurious modern holiday home situated just outside the holiday village of Carrigart in North West Donegal. This newly built holiday accommodation is finished to a very high standard with a strong emphasis on space and natural light in each area of the house. The holiday home is located on an elevated site and enjoys superb panoramic views of Mulroy Bay and the beautiful Fanad Peninsula.

The holiday home has top class accommodation for  8  - 10 people. There are 4 roomy bedrooms - 2 of which are ensuite. The bright and spacious living room and beautiful conservatory style dining room are both to the front of the house. From both rooms you can enjoy the superb panoramic vista outside.

The Rosguill Peninsual

The village of Carrigart - and the nearby village of Downings -  are popular seaside resorts with lively pubs and good restaurants. Carrigart  is situated on the beautiful Rosguill Peninsula.  The natural landscape of this peninsula  provides the basis for many of the activities that the visitor can enjoy. In addition to an abundance of golden sandy beaches there are many water based activities in the Carrigart/Downings area - including windsurfing, deep sea diving, sea angling and boat charters. There is also horse riding and hill walking. The Magherabeg Leisure Centre is located in Downings and features a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and gym

Within 5 km of the holiday home  there are two superb championship golf links at Rosapenna -  the Old Tom Morris Course and the recently opened Sandy Hills Course.  With the opening of the new Mulroy Bridge the wonderful Portsalon golf links at Portsalon is now only 20 minutes away. A 30 minute drive will bring you to the ever popular Dunfanaghy Golf Link

North Donegal

Within a thirty minute drive of the holiday home there are numerous things to do and places to visit. You have the majestic Glenveagh National Park and the beautiful Ards Forest Park. The lakeside centre in Dunlewy has something for all the family. In Dunfanaghy there is a workhouse famine museum. Churchill has the famous Glebe House & Gallery as well as the Colmcille Heritage Centre. Letterkenny has all the amenities you would expect to find in a large town - cinemas, museum, theatre, leisure centres, art galleries and excellent shopping.  Tory Island and the ancient walled city of Derry are highly recommended day trips.

Living Space

  Kitchen

The fully integrated kitchen features an electric oven (double), microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and electric ceramic hob. The floor is tiled but warm and the large window provides ample natural light. The kitchen has a dining table that can comfortably seat 6. For more formal dining there is a superb conservatory style dining room that enjoys wonderful views.

A washing machine and tumble dryer are located in a separate utility room

  Living Area

The ground floor of this luxurious holiday home provides a truly special living space. The area has been carefully designed to make maximum use of natural sunlight - and to enable the visitor to enjoy the stunning vista outside. The living area is decorated in a luxurious fashion with a superb stone fireplace providing a focal point.

The spacious first floor gallery provides an added sense of space. It also provides a separate living area in the holiday home.

  Bedrooms

The holiday home has 4 very comfortable and spacious bedrooms – each with its own individual style. On the ground floor there are 2 tastefully decorated double bedrooms which are adjacent to the cottage bathroom. One of these bedrooms is located to the front of the house and enjoys superb views.

On the first floor there are two ensuite bedrooms. The photograph below shows the master bedroom. The second ensuite room is a family/childrens room with 2 single beds and a pool table. Both first floor rooms enjoy superb views.

  Dining Room

The holiday home is located on an elevated site just outside the picturesque village of Carrigart in North Donegal. Form the beautifully furnished dining room the visitor can enjoy superb views of Mulroy Bay and the Fanad Peninsula.

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of  €100 per week.  Balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.
