It is the home of the singer Daniel O&#8217;Donnell. The area is very rugged, with lovely thatched  cottages, magnificent coastal scenery and many beaches. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Holiday Homes in Kincasslagh\" href=\"http:\/\/www.donegalcottageholidays.com\/towns\/holiday-cottage-kincasslagh.php\">Holiday Homes in Kincasslagh<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.donegalcottageholidays.com\/blog\/category\/kincasslagh\/\">More Informatioin about Kincasslagh<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Just off the  coast is Cruit Island, which is a European-designated &#8220;Special Area of  Conservation&#8221; and joined to the mainland by a bridge. There is a golf  course, angling (offshore and deep sea) and bathing.
