At almost 900 meters, Letterkenny Karting Centre has one of the longest go kart tracks in Ireland. From tight hairpins to flat out straights, high speed overtaking and battling for position, this challenging track will put your skills to the test. \nTake to the track for a 15, 20 or 30 minute session. You get an unlimited number of laps within that time. This is a great way to get to know the track.
\nGrand Prix<\/strong>
\nIn a Grand Prix race meeting all drivers are guaranteed a minimum of 7 races.
\nThe first race is a practice race, after practice drivers will have 5 races on a grid containing 6 to 10 karts depending on the number of drivers racing.
\nThe objective is to get as many points as possible from the 5 qualifying races as this will determine where your kart starts on the grid in the quarter or semi-finals.
\nThe number of drivers racing will determine the amount of semi and quarter finals required.
\nThe top drivers in the semi finals go into the grand final with the top three drivers winning trophies presented by the karting centre.
