Coral Cottage Dunfanaghy is a 3 bedroom holiday home located just off the main street of the vibrant seaside village of Dunfanaghy in North West Donegal. The house overlooks a green area in a small development and has views towards Horn Head. From the front door, it is a few minutes walk to Killahoey Beach and Dunfanaghy Golf Links.

With such a central location in Dunfanaghy all the village's amenities are within easy walking distance - shops, cafes, art galleries, craft shops, pubs and watersports centres. The local Arnold's Hotel has a fine equestrian centre attached to it. Dunfanaghy now has a number of well-established festivals including the Dunfanaghy Jazz and Blues Festival in September and the Bluegrass and Nashville Band Festival which takes place in June.

Watersports and Hill Walking

As well as being a popular centre for watersports enthusiasts, Dunfanaghy is also a great base for walkers and hill walkers. Just to the north of the village is the dramatic Horn Head Peninsula while 8 km to the south is the wonderful Ards Forest Park featuring numerous woodland walking trails and coastal paths. The magnificent Glenveagh National Park is just over 20km from Dunfanaghy and offers a wide variety of hill walking trails

Wild Atlantic Way

Dunfanaghy is also a great central base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way in North West Donegal. All along the coastline from the Rosguill Peninsula to the ruggedly beautiful Gweedore coastline, there are numerous headlands, rocky outcrops, sandy coves, offshore islands, small harbours and some of the finest beaches in Ireland. At Magheroarty pier there are ferry services to both Tory and Inishbofin Islands.
