Just a few kilometres off the Wild Atlantic Way, nestled in a forest of Larch and Oak with a backdrop of Muckish mountain, lies Cosan An Carria, meaning The Stags Path. On occasions, Stags, deer and indeed the infamous Irish hare have been spotted metres away from the cottage. While buzzards soar and patrol the heathland looking for their next meal, they nest close by. A tranquil and peaceful romantic getaway for two, this traditional one-bedroom Irish stone cottage offers a warm and cosy hideaway from the bustle of the 21st Century. It boasts of a subtle blend of old-world charm and the comfort and luxury of modern facilities while remaining sensitive to the environment it's located in.

What they say

Cosan An Carria provides everything you need to experience Donegal and the peace, comfort and tranquility on offer. The cottage is set in the countryside, and has access to a good shop and bars. It is so cosy with the log burner and the cooking facilities have everything you need. I just loved the roll-top bath and shower with lots of hot water. The walking is amazing. Just step out the door for the wildlife and country. I even saw Stags and a Hare. What an amazing way to spend time, sometime in Donegal.
