Drumore House - Fanad

Drumore accommodates 8 people comfortably. From its  elevated site, it holds a commanding view of the surrounding landscape towards Mulroy Bay. The cottage is close to beautiful sandy beaches that lie along the Fanad section of Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way.

The location is an unspoilt, scenic and tranquil area of the Fanad Peninsula. It is ideal for fishing, golf, swimming, surfing, walking, cycling or just plain relaxing. It provides an ideal base for touring the immediate area and beyond to the Inishowen and Rosguil peninsulas.

Surrounding Area

The cottage is located 7 miles from the village of Portsalon which has a magnificent blue flag beach and challenging 18-hole golf links. 

A short drive along the coast takes you to Fanad Head where Lough Swilly meets the wild Atlantic Ocean. This is the location of Fanad Lighthouse. From the lighthouse grounds you can see the rugged sea cliffs of Dunaff Head across the bay.

The holiday home is well placed too for some spectacular  beaches noted for the glorious golden sands. There is a surf school that operates from nearby Ballyhiernan Beach. Hill walkers will discover in the area a vast network of bog roads and mountain tracks to explore.

Drumore House is an ideal base to explore the natural beauty of the unspoiled Fanad Peninsula.
