centre of note for many centuries. Best known of its

villages of Malin and Culdaff. Malin is a past winner of the

Greencastle, a lovely little
seaside-fishing village, is situated on the east side of the
Inishowen Peninsula, at the narrow mouth of Lough Foyle
looking towards Magilligan Point. A car ferry connects the
village with north County Derry and from there it's a
relatively short drive to the Giant's Causeway. Derry, or
the Maiden City as it's sometimes called, the second largest
city in Northern Ireland is only 30 minutes drive from
Greencastle.

Inch Island is connected to the
mainland by a causeway and is largely fertile on it's
eastern side while its western side has steep mountain sides
and a a coastline punctuated by little harbours and a sandy

Malin is one of the most
