From the front door it a five minute walk down to Magheroarty beach – also known as Dooey Strand. This fabulous beach is popular for a range of water based activities including surfing, kayaking, kite surfing. wind surfing and swimming. The large sand dunes provide a playground for children of all ages . The keen walker will enjoy the dramatic scenery that surrounds the beach. The ferrys to both Tory Island and Inishbofin Island leave from Magheroarty Pier.
