Carpenters Cottage is a 3 bedroom holiday home located in the heart of the popular beach and golf resort of Ballyliffin. Ballyliffin is located on the route of the Wild Atlantic Way on the north-west coastline of the ruggedly beautiful Inishowen Peninsula.

From the front door of the holiday home, it is less than 1.5km to the wonderful Pollan Strand and just over 2km to the Clubhouse of the superb Ballyliffin Golf Club. The 3 main local hotels in the village – The Strand, The Ballyliffin Lodge and the Ballyliffin Hotel – are within easy walking distance. The quaint Nancy’s Barn Coffee Shop is just across the road from the holiday home.

Pollan Strand is a popular beach and is suitable for all ages with a fine children’s play area nestled in the sand dunes at the beach entrance. The long stretch of sandy beach looks out onto the dramatic Glashedy Island and is a great location for all types of water activities, particularly windsurfing.

There is a lovely beach walk that hugs the edge of the Ballyliffin Golf course and takes you to the ruins of Carrickabraghey Castle on the Isle of Doagh. Binion Hill is also a designated walk that is accessible from Pollan Bay and is recommended for nature lovers and hill walkers.
