Seaview Cottage Downings

2 Seaview Cottage is a spacious 4 bedroom detached holiday home on an elevated site just over 2km north of the popular beach and golf resort of Downings in North Donegal.  The holiday home is centrally located on the stunning Rosguill Peninsula – the road around this peninsula is the renowned Atlantic Drive which is now part of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.

The holiday home sleeps 8 very comfortably, with the added flexibility of a sofa bed, which opens into a double. Both the living room and kitchen/dining area are bright and spacious and have patio doors out to the large back garden which enjoys lovely views of Muckish Mountains, Marble Hill, Dunfanaghy, Horn Head and Tory Island

The town of Downings is only a 2 minute drive down the hill, where you can enjoy 2 beautiful beaches – Downings and Tramore Strand. These beaches are a mecca for water sports enthusiasts – wind surfers, kayakers, paddle boarders and sailors. Lessons in various water sports are available and equipment is available for hire. Downings town beach, allows cars to park on the beach in a designated area, which is handy if you have small children. It is a Blue Flag beach with Lifeguards in attendance during the summer season.

There are several places to eat including The Beach Hotel, The Downings Bay Hotel, Gallery Pizza/Burger, ice cream parlour, to name a few. There are bars in the hotels as well as the Tramore Inn, the Wee Bar and of course the famous Harbour Bar.
