Kiln Fort 2

Kiln Fort 2 is a large 5-bedroom holiday home located 5km to the north of Rathmullan along the Wild Atlantic Way. It features a large garden with hot tub, fire-pit and a selection of kid's play equipment. Upstairs there are three king rooms, two with en-suites. Downstairs there are two king rooms, one with an ensuite, and the main bathroom. There is also an open plan kitchen/living room with a wood-burning fire. The kitchen table can sit 10 people and the living area has two 4-seater sofas. The holiday home is pet-friendly and has free wifi.

Local Activities

Less than one mile from Kiln Fort 2 is the charming 9 hole Otway golf links which has a number of beautiful sandy coves along its length. 8 miles along the spectacular Knockalla coast road brings you to Portsalon which has one of Ireland's finest beaches and also a fabulous 18 hole golf links.

Rathmullan

3 miles south brings you to the popular seaside resort of Rathmullan which has excellent restaurants and lively pubs. Rathmullan also has a sailing school and a modern sea charter boat for sightseeing or deep sea angling on Lough Swilly. During summer months, the ferry leaves from Rathmullan pier and crosses Lough Swilly to Buncrana on the Inishowen Peninsula.

Local Attractions

Kiln Fort 2 is an ideal tour base for North Donegal. The majestic Glenveagh National Park, the family orientated Dunlewy Lakeside Activity Centre, the beautiful Ards Forest Park and the breathtaking Atlantic Drive are all within an hours drive of the house. The Rathmullan to Buncrana ferry has brought the beautiful Inishowen peninsula and the historic City of Derry within easy reach.

This spacious holiday home is an excellent location for a range of activities including golf, hill walking, horse riding and those for whom such pursuits are a little energetic, it’s also the perfect location for a relaxing getaway.

Booking Deposit €200 - with the balance to be paid six weeks before the letting period.

- no booking or commission fees as you are booking direct with the owner
