This  traditional house is located in Glen, Carrigart on the outskirts of the beautiful and renowned Sheephaven Bay, lying on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. This area boasts no less than five  superb beaches in the popular coastal village of Downings.

Tranquil Location in Hill Walking Terrain

There are numerous walking and climbing trails nearby. As can be seen, this location is ideal for those who want true rural living with complete peace and relaxation. Only minutes from the famous Glen Bar and Restaurant, this traditional three-bedroom cottage is suitable for families, groups or individuals on holidays or as a long-term rental. There is a caretaker available for general maintenance of cottage.

Downings

Glen is located only five miles from the remarkable Downings village which has a diving school, fishing boats for hire, three restaurants and three hotels. Located on the Atlantic Ocean, this traditional fishing village is a favourite location for tourists during the summer season with a popular nightlife and scenic surroundings. Lough Salt Cottage is the perfect location for a peaceful and relaxing holiday amid the natural splendours of the area.

Outdoor Prusuits

There are three golf courses close by, including the world famous Rosapenna Golf Course - which also features on course lessons. Other tourist attractions include Glenveagh Castle, Doe Castle and Gartan Outdoor Centre. If you’re a fan of outdoor pursuits - then this is the ideal location for you!

Living Space

  Kitchen

The holiday home kitchen has been fully re-furbished with fitted cupboards and black granite effect surfaces. A gas hob and electric oven with extractor fan are also included. There is ample cupboard space and kitchen utensils are included – ideal for self catering. While this kitchen is compact it is finished to a high standard. There are beautiful views overlooking Muckish and Errigal Mountains from the kitchen window.

  Living Room

This spacious living room is very well finished with wooden flooring and comfortable surroundings. The hand-crafted brick fireplace is a wonderful centre-piece for a real home fire (turf can be supplied if required). Dining table and chairs also included. Central heating throughout.

  Bedrooms

 There are built-in double wardrobes in all three double bedrooms which are of a good size. The bedrooms are furnished with wooden flooring throughout. There are wonderful views from all three bedrooms, to front and rear of the cottage. Central heating is also included in the rental price. The adjacent bathroom is fully tiled, and is complete with bath and shower.

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of euro100 per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.
