No 3 Woodbrook Cottage is a modern holiday home located in a very attractive development on the outskirts of the popular holiday village of Rathmullan in North Donegal. The holiday home is less than 100 metres from the beautiful Kinnegar Strand and only 500 metres from Rathmullan House Hotel which features the award winning Weeping Elm Restaurant and the the quaint Cellar Bar. In addition all the amenities in the village - shops, pubs, restaurants, equestrian centre and children's playground - are within easy walking distance.
The holiday holiday home has comfortable accommodation for up to 10 people. There are 3 traditional bedrooms - two double bedrooms (one with ensuite facilities) and a bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds. A slightly quirky feature is the presence of a full double bed in the large first floor living area.
The holiday home effectively has 3 separate living areas. These include a large furnished conservatory overlooking the back lawn, a spacious first floor living room with open fireplace and a games room with full pool table and built in seating area. All 3 areas - and 2 of the bedrooms - have TV's with satellite freeview.
The village of Rathmullan and the surrounding area is very popular with visitors who return each year to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of this wonderful part of Donegal. The village is surrounded by glorious coastal and mountain scenery. The historic heritage village of Ramelton is just 7 miles away and Portsalon - with its blue flag beach and top class golf links - is 11 miles along the spectacular Knockalla Coast Road.

Climb Muckish and Errigal. Mount Errigal, the highest mountain in Donegal is a demanding climb and once on the summit you can see for miles around.
Visit Glenveagh National Park, with 16,000 hectares of mountains, lakes, wood and bogs. Glenveagh contains the largest red deer population in Europe. Within the National Park Glenveagh Castle and gardens are well worth a visit on their own
Find numerous peaceful roads, country lanes and mountain tracks to walk
Visit Letterkenny, County Donegal's main town. This busy town has everything you would expect to find in a modern urban centre – cinemas, theatre, indoor play centres, swimming pool, town park, shopping centres and night clubs. Letterkenny is a 25 minute drive from the holiday home.

The holiday home effectively has 3 separate living areas. In addition to the large conservatory and games room there is spacious living room located on the first floor. A slightly quirky feature of this room is the presence of a full double bed. This room - like most rooms in the holiday home - has a TV with satellite freeview.
The holiday home can accommodate up to 10 people. The ensuite double bedroom is located on the first floor. On the ground floor there is another double bedroom and a room with 2 sets of bunk beds. Finally there is a double bed in the first floor living room - much better than a pull-out sofa bed!
This wonderful living space has a comfortable furniture suite and a dining table with 6 chairs. Double doors lead out to a large paved patio area and the enclosed back lawn. The conservatory has a tv. dvd and video.
Adjacent to this conservatory/dining area is a fully fitted modern kitchen.
The final living area in the holiday home is the games room - a large converted garage attached to the house. This room features a full pool table and a large seating area with a drinks fridge, television and stereo system.
