We loved staying in this cottage for a week in March. The cottage is warm, well furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen is a dream to cook in, as it has everything we need and more, this is one of the best equipped kitchens we have ever had in a vacation rental. The cottage has a well thought out floor plan and every modern convenience is provided. The bed was extremely comfortable and thus, we slept very well. The WiFi was very fast and very reliable, which is something that is important to us when we travel. The location is wonderful, as it is quiet, surrounded by trees and provides easy access to the roads to travel in Co. Donegal. Marion is a joy to deal with, as she is very communicative and has a relaxed approach. We cannot praise Co. Donegal enough, it is a stunning landscape and the people are absolute gems, they are so friendly and the service provided is unsurpassed. Be sure to drop into the Hatter Tea Room in nearby Stranorlar, where the service is great and the cappuccino is one of the best, and we drank plenty over our five weeks of travel in Ireland. We highly recommend a stay at River Finn Cottage, do not hesitate to book, as this cottage is outstanding.

When we arrived we got a worm welcome. Worm is a good word because the house was heated when we got there. Perfect location, just off the main street in the quiet area. Kids loved the bunk beds and we loved whole house. Marion, the owner of the property, is lovely lady and very helpful.

Such a spacious, clean and very inviting cottage to stay at. Beautifully decorated with ample space to sleep up to 7 people. Will most definitely be back.

My family(3 x adults and 2 x kids) recently had a really enjoyable stay here. Marion was very welcoming and went the extra mile to check that we had everything we needed. The house was immaculate, very well presented and provided a home from home with plenty of space. The location is beautiful and secluded with several beautiful beached within 30 mins drive and Londonderry about 30-40 mins drive. We will be back!

We stayed here twice this year and loved it each time. The owners are warm friendly people and the surroundings are beautiful. There is everything you need and more provided for your stay. The cottage is so warm and welcoming. We didn't want to leave. There are fantastic woodland walks close to the cottage and plenty to see and do in both Stranorlar and Ballybofey. We cannot wait to go back!

We only stayed here for one night but it was enough for us to decide that we will be returning back at some stage and plan to stay longet .. Fantastic place and our hostess was an amazing lady.. We stayed in this cottage in April whilst exploring Donegal and NW Northern Ireland. The cottage is beautifully appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay and is well placed to visit the NW. The owners, who live next door, are friendly and helpful without being in any way intrusive. Cant recommend highly enough.

Stayed at River Finn cottage for two nights. It Is situated in a beautiful location. Owners were helpful from the moment we arrived and made us fee right at home. It is centrally located to all amenities and we enjoyed bike rides in the country and good shopping for my wife wife in the local town. Will definitely be returning again.

We stayed for a week at River Finn Cottage with Caspar our small Bichon Frise and we all had a great time. The cottage was easy to find and we were very comfortable. In truth, it felt more like a home than a holiday let. It had all the amenities you would expect and then some!

We definitely expect to be back as there is so much more left for us to see!

River Finn Cottage was well present cottage with plenty of room for the kids to run around inside and out, we really enjoyed are time at River Finn Cottage and would really recommend it to anyone looking to get away from the city life just to recharge the battery's or idea to spend some quality time with the family.

A lovely cottage in a quiet private setting. Well equipped and ideal for a relaxing break. Ideally located for visiting the local area and all it has to offer, and if you want to go slightly further afield Derry and Omagh are only 30 to 40 minutes drive away. 
Highly recommended and I will be returning in the summer for another visit.

This place is lovely! Fantastic little cottage with everything that you could possibly need for a self catering break. Lovely peaceful location - ideal for exploring the countryside and coastal areas and then retreating back to of an evening. We met the owners Marion and Sean briefly on check-in and they told us to just ask if there was anything we needed. There was plenty of information brochures on 'things to do' in the cottage - we found these really helpful. Once again a lovely break and we will definitely be back!.
