The cottage has been refurbished to the highest standards in a contemporary style. It has three bedrooms that can accommodate seven people.
The main living area has a HIGH CEILING which gives a wonderful sense of space to the area. It is open plan with a wood burning stove, a modern fully fitted kitchen and dining area with fabulous views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Donegal coast.
The cottage has one modern bathroom. The interior is fully insulated, and double glazed with oil fired central heating.
Radharc Banbha is located within walking distance of a quiet secluded beach (no swimming) which can be accessed through fields owned by the holiday home owner as movement of animals allows.
Walking on from this cove is the famous raised pebble Ballyhillin beach. This is a unique raised beach system of international scientific significance. The distinctive shoreline illustrates the changing connection between the sea and the land. The beach is well known for its semi precious stones such as jasper, serpentine and agate, all of which can be cultured and set into jewellery. These coves and beaches can be accessed by car in 3 mins also.
The holiday home takes it name from its location near Malin Head. The very tip of Malin Head, and of Ireland, is known as Banbha's Crown. In 1905 Banbha Tower was built as a signal station before modern technology made it redundant.
Malin head is well known as an area of outstanding scenic beauty. There are various spectacular rock formations, such as devils bridge and hells hole.
Malin head is also one of the first points of interests on the WILD ATLANTIC WAY-- Ireland's new tourism initative.
Mailn head offers unique bird watching opportunities, unspoiled natural fauna.
Due to the recent Covid situation some of the above may not be available this year
