Tara Holiday Home is a comfortable holiday home located right in the centre of Rathmullan Village in County Donegal. This traditional style village townhouse has plenty of space with a  living room, dining room, kitchen , sunroom and storage scullery. In keeping with the traditional style it features a half door, old style dresser and range and an open fireplace.

Literally within 300 meters of the townhouse you have the beach, the pier with a small marina, the Rathmullan to Buncrana car ferry, the Flight of the Earls Heritage Centre, 4 pubs, the award winning Bonnan Bui restaurant, a top class fish and chip shop, the local playing fields and a wonderful new children's paying ground at the harbour front.

A little further afield – but still within comfortable walking distance - you have the Golden Sands Equestrian Centre and two of Donegal's finest hotels – Rathmullan House Hotel and Fort Royal Hotel. Both of these hotels have excellent restaurants. The popular Waters Edge Restaurant is also within easy walking distance.

Take a day trip to Tory Island
Climb Muckish and Errigal. Mount Errigal, the highest mountain in Donegal is a demanding climb and once on the summit you can see for miles around.
Visit Glenveagh National Park, with 16,000 hectares of mountains, lakes, wood and bogs. Glenveagh contains the largest red deer population in Europe.  Within the National Park Glenveagh Castle and gardens are well worth a visit on their own
Visit Letterkenny - Donegal's largest town with facilities for young and old - cinema, theatre, shopping centres, golf course and leisure centres. (25 minute drive)
Find numerous peaceful roads, country lanes and mountain tracks to walk

The living room is located to the front of the house, has an open fire. It is elegantly furnished with cottage furniture and carpeted. It has double doors leading into the dining room.

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of euro100 per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.
