The Pines is a modern 3 bedroom holiday home located just off the main coastal road between Dunfanaghy and Falcarragh in North West Donegal.  The holiday home is 2km from the shores of New Lake and another few kilometres from the fabulous Tramore Strand. From the front door, it is just 5km to the centre of the vibrant beach and golf resort of Dunfanaghy.

A Modern 3 Bedroom Holiday Home

The holiday home has 3 spacious bedrooms to sleep 6 comfortably. There is a first floor bathroom and a ground floor shower room. The holiday home has the advantage of a number of different living areas -  a main living area, a conservatory and a play room. The modern kitchen is well equipped for a self catering holiday. The grounds around the house are fully enclosed with lawns to the front and ample parking. The house and grounds enjoy sea, mountain and countryside views

A Tranquil Base for a Dunfanaghy Holiday

The holiday home is a tranquil base to enjoy a holiday in the Dunfanaghy area. Dunfanaghy is one of Donegal’s premier family holiday destinations and boats a wide range of tourist amenities. Not least of these is the superb Blue Flag Killahoey Beach and the wonderfully scenic 18 hole Dunfanaghy golf links course. To the north of Dunfanaghy is the dramatic Horn Head Peninsula, to the south is the majestic Ards Forest Park while Muckish Mountain provides a stunning backdrop to the town. This diverse headland, mountain and forest landscape is ideal terrain for the keen rambler.

The Wild Atlantic Way

The Pines is also a great base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way in North West Donegal. All along the coast from the small but dramatic Rosguill Peninsula to the rugged Gweedore coastline there are numerous headlands, rocky outcrops, sandy coves, small harbours, offshore islands and some of the finest beaches in Ireland.

The holiday home has an open plan ground floor. The living area has a three seater leather reclining couch and two single seater reclining arm chairs to match. It enjoys sea views and features an oak floor and an open fireplace. For home entertainment, there is a tv with satellite Freeview. The open plan area also has a large dining table and 6 chairs.

The kitchen area has built-in pine units and a tiled floor. Appliances available include electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. A separate utility has a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The holiday home has a first floor bathroom with corner bath and electric shower. On the ground floor, there is a shower room with toilet.
