Offering spacious living The Haven has been tastefully furnished to a high standard throughout and will comfortably sleep 8 with its four large bedrooms. The ground floor consists of a generous living area with a wood burning stove. A contemporary style pine kitchen with high and low level cupboards, integrated ½ and ½ fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is a bright dining area with double doors leading into the conservatory with its stunning views. A large utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. Accommodation on the ground floor consists of one twin bedroom, one double bedroom and a bathroom with separate shower.
The first floor consists of two double bedrooms with double aspect views and a shower room. Outside there is a patio area with, patio furniture, a large garden and great parking space. The property is well set back from the road thus making it a safe playground for children.
The village of Dunfanaghy is a very popular holiday destination and is only about a five minute drive away. It offers a range of shops, pubs and many excellent restaurants to suit all tastes. Dunfanaghy offers something for everyone. With activities such as horse riding, fishing, golfing, hill walking, cycling, bird watching, wind surfing, water-skiing, traditional music, art galleries with their large selection of oil and water colours and a craft shop specialising in the very best of Irish handcrafts there is much to keep everyone busy.
The Haven is well located for exploring the local area. It is situated close to the entrance of Ards Forest Park which covers approximately 1200 acres and includes sandy beaches, sand dunes, salt marshes, salt water lakes and mature coniferous and deciduous woodlands. The beaches are one of the real treasures of this Forest Park with its many trails, picnic sites and a children’s adventure playground. A pass can be obtained at The Haven for free entrance to the Park.
There are a number of magnificent sandy beaches just a short distance away including Tramore, Ards and the blue flag beaches of Marble Hill and Killahoey. Ards Friary is set in 200 acres of mature woodland in a secluded and peaceful setting. It is open to the public and has a coffee shop which is open during the holiday season. A footpath flanked by mature trees follows the shoreline and leads to two beautiful secluded sandy beaches.
Overlooking Marble Hill Strand is the fabulous new Shandon Hotel Spa, fitness centre and pool. This modern spa has a hydrotherapy floor and eight treatment rooms. There are several first class golf courses. The challenging 18 hole course in Dunfanaghy and the two superb 18 hole Championship courses at Rosapenna including the brand new Sandy Hills course. There is also a 9 hole par 3 course in Creeslough.
The entire region is a fisherman’s paradise with trout and salmon lakes and rivers. There is fly-fishing at Creeslough and sea-angling off Portnablagh Harbour and the nearby port of Downings.

The holiday home has a contemporary style pine kitchen with high and low level cupboards. Appliances available include electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. An adjacent dining area has a table and 6 chairs.
A washing machine and tumble dryer is housed in a separate utility room.
Double doors lead from the dining area to the conservatory. This living space has comfortable wicker furniture and enjoys lovely views.
