Aura Leisure Centre, Letterkenny
The Aura Leisure Centre is a superb modern Sports and Leisure facility on the outskirts of Letterkenny Town. It is situated close to O’ Donnell Park GAA grounds and the new Letterkenny Town Park at Ballymacool.
The new Letterkenny Leisure Complex opened to the Public on Monday, 9th July, 2007 at a cost of approximately €23 million. Aura Management Company were appointed as operators of the new centre.Facilities at the Complex include:-
- 25 metre pool and learner pool
- Kiddies’ fun pool
- Two twister adventure water slides
- Large multi-purpose sports hall suitable for various indoor sports
- Large fitness gym
- An aerobics studio
- Health suite
- Full size all weather pitch
- Junior soccer pitch
- Tartan running track ( The Danny McDaid Track)
- Childrens Play Area
- Skate Park

Pay-As-You-Go option
Anyone who wants to enjoy a fun family day out, or who wants to get fit, lose weight tone up or simply relax and unwind can do so at Aura Letterkenny Leisure Complex without having to sign up for annual membership.
Entertainment Venue
The Aura Centre with its 2500 seater sports hall also operates as a first class entertainment venue. A successful run of Riverdance was held in the complex. Daniel O’ Donnell, Randy Travis, Martina McBride and Jedward among others have performed at the venue. A number of big boxing nights have also taking place – including a Hunky Dorys Fight Night featuring Paul McCloskey v Cesar Bazan
