The Mill Restaurant Dunfanaghy
The Mill Restaurant Dunfanaghy is a converted flax mill beside the shores of New Lake (a designated conservation area) is home to the Alcorn family’s friendly guesthouse-cum-restaurant. The owner’s grandfather was the renowned watercolourist Frank Eggington, and his paintings adorn almost every room in the house.
The six en-suite bedrooms have been carefully decorated and combine antique furnishings with modern facilities including telephone, television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The result is a mixture of comfort and charm which is evident throughout the house. Breakfast is served in the Dining Room. The conservatory overlooking the lake is a lovely place to relax as is the sitting room with its open fire in the cooler evenings.
