Mó Chró Beag

Mó Chró Beag is along the route of the Atlantic Drive next door to The Singing Pub - one of the best food and entertainment venues along the Wild Atlantic Way. This spacious home can sleep up to 6 adults, also there is a cot available. Downings beach, Fisk Restaurant, a range of pubs and Rosapenna Golf Club are within a 5-minute drive. Two of Donegal's iconic beaches are close by - Murderhole Beach. Trá na Rossan beach. Mó Chró Beag welcomes your pet and features free wifi.

Local Activities

The holiday home is 3 km from Downings village and is conveniently placed for golf, fishing (sea angling and fresh water), hill walks, horse riding and water sports. There are a number of magnificant beaches in the immediate vicinity - including the fabulous Tramore Strand. The nearby Rosapenna Golf Links boasts two renowned 18 hole championship courses. A further 3 km brings you to the picturesque village of Carrigart where you will find an equestrian centre and the Mevagh Dive Centre - Donegal's first purpose built dive centre.

Downings

The village of  Downings itself  is a very popular tourist resort and fishing port with good restaurants and  lively pubs - including the renowned Harbour Bar. It is situated on the beautiful Rosquil Peninsula. This peninsula divides Mulroy Bay and Sheephaven Bay and contains spectacular scenery

North West Donegal

Within a thirty minute drive of the cottage there are numerous visitor attractions. These include the majestic Glenveagh National Park and the beautiful Ards Forest Park near Cresslough. The lakeside centre in Dunlewy has something for all the family. In Dunfanaghy there is a workhouse famine museum. Churchill has the famous Glebe House & Gallery as well as the Colmcille Heritage Centre. Letterkenny has all the amenities you would expect to find in a large town - cinemas, museum, theatre, leisure centres, art galleries and excellent shopping. 

So whether you want to enjoy the great outdoors or simply want to unwind and relax Mó Chró Beag provides the ideal holiday base.
