The tastefully furnished conservatory enjoys panoramic views over Downings beach and harbour. An added attraction is a first floor gallery with lovely coastal views. The holiday home has 4 double bedrooms, two of which are ensuite. There is a bathroom on the ground floor. Outside there is a furnished patio area with bbq.
Downings itself is located along the Wild Atlantic Way – Ireland’s long distance driving route. The amenities in the village – shops, pubs, hotels and beach are within easy walking distance of the holiday home.
The wider Downings area is also well served with tourist amenities. It boasts two first class championship golf links at Rosapenna – the superb Sandy Hills course and the Old Tom Morris Course. The Meevagh Dive Centre in Carrigart is situated between Mulroy Bay and Sheephaven Bay and offers diving all year round. Charter boats based at Downings offer sightseeing trips around the local bays . They also cater for deep sea angling with Shark, Bottom, Wreck, Sand, Bluefin Tuna, Tope & Reef fishing.
