Aranmore Island Fishing Boat

I took this image of an old fishing boat near the main ferry harbour on Aranmore Island in the summer of 2011. We were blessed with glorious weather for the weekend and have lovely memories of a picnic near the lighthouse on the western coast of the island. I remember that one of the local pubs, Early’s, served delicious pizza and we even took part in a late night quiz in aid of the local football club.
