Leo’s Tavern is one of Donegal’s most famous pubs. The establishment is named after Leo Brennan, an extremely popular and accomplished musician in his own right but also the father of Enya and 3 members of the renowned Clannad band – Moya, Ciaran and Paul Brennan. The proprietor Bartley Brennan is Leo Brennan’s youngest son and Leo himself continues to entertain the locals and tourists regularly.

It is part of the Donegal Good Food Tavern Group. The main dining area within the tavern has vaulted timber ceilings, timber flooring and  banquet style seating and excellent natural lighting. The walls are dotted with gold and platinum albums and awards – a fitting tribute to the international success of Clannad, Enya & Moya.

Once the kitchen stops serving  the restaurant dining area becomes the music venue that Tábhairne Leo is renowned for. The stage area adjacent to the fireplace is where Leo and various other home grown, national and international musicians entertain the locals and tourists alike.

Leo’s is locted in Meenaleck near Crolly in the West Donegal Gaeltacht. It is just 10 minutes drive from Donegal Airport.
