Lurgybrack Open Farm

Lurgybrack Open Farm is a special place where all the family can spend the day together watching the animals and having fun.

The centuries old farm building is home to a range of friendly farm animals that children can come face to face with. There are a large variety of animals to see and enjoy, baby kids and lambs can be bottle fed. The rabbits can be handled and cuddled in the pet corner. Kids will enjoy the large playground and sandpit area, have fun on the barrel train run, and feed the ducks.

There is ample space to play safely, wander by the riverside, walk or just sit back and unwind with a tasty snack from our tea room or have your own family picnic.

Lurgybrack Open Farm is the only educational farm of its type in Donegal and offers fantastic teaching facilities for educational visits.  Because the farm is an animal petting farm, the children get a hands on learning experience and there is plenty to see, touch and do!  Additional facilities include toilets and baby changing facilities, ample car parking, tree house and swings.

Along with Alcorns Tropical World, Lurgybrack Open Farm  is making Letterkenny a popular destination for animal lovers who are visiting Donegal.

During the season (April to September) the farm is open on a daily basis from 10.00am to 5.00pm. It is fully wheelchair accessible.
