
Sunset on Lough Swilly
This photo was taken on a late September evening at the end of Buncrana pier. The light was fading over Lough Swilly and a father and son were finishing fishing for the day. Rathmullan pier and Inch Island can be seen in the distance. The pier is used by RNLI as a base for search operations in the local area.
