Churchill is located 8 miles to the west of Donegal’s main town, Letterkenny. It is an ideal base for a hill walking or sightseeing holiday in Donegal. As it’s name suggests, the village is located on a small hilltop and has lovely views over the Donegal landscape. Nearby attractions include the Colmcille Heritage Centre, the Glebe House and Gallery, Glenveagh National Park and Newmills Corn and Flax Mills.

Letterkenny, is located 8 miles away and the short car journey brings you to it’s many shops, restaurants, cinema, swimming pool and the fabulous An Grianan Theatre.

Churchill village has 1 grocery shop, a post office, take away and 3 pubs. There is a Church of Ireland in the village and the local Catholic church is 1 mile away. The closest beach is Marble Hill – 30 min. drive.
